Improve Home Air Quality With Plants!

We're all for having a beautiful, comfy home you love coming home to. But, air quality inside can be worse than air quality outside due to paint, carpet, and other products. We're also for keeping the home clean without as many man-made chemical products as possible, and that's why we love recommending plants to help purify and clean your air!

Its recommended that you have a 6" plant for every 100 square feet of space in your home for optimal air quality. Here are a list of the top 15 plants for better indoor air quality:

1. Areca Palm Tree
2. Lady Palm
3. Bamboo Palm
4. Rubber Plant
5. Janet Craig – Dracaena
6. English Ivy
7. Date Palm Tree
8. Ficus Alii
9. Boston Fern
10.Peace Lilly
11. Aloe Vera
12. Spider Plants
13. Chrysanthemum
14. Heart leaf philodendron
15. Snake Plants or Mother of Law Tongue

Many of these are very easy to care for, so even the worst green thumb can grow these babies without worry! And, if you're ever in a jam about your plants you can always submit a question to us, Margaret is a certified Master Gardener and is an AIFD accredited florist- she knows her stuff!!
